I wanted Cooking Mama to be in the game. Wish didn’t come true but I felt she checked off a lot of the “requirements” and “prerequisites” for a smash fighter. Nintendo staple, lots of games, moves can be taken from any game and implemented nicely, creative ultimate, costumes, etc. Someone said, I don’t know if Sakurai or someone else, that smash was never to “advertise” a character so sales of that game could flourish, or something. I think that’s bs. It’s doing just that with the way some of these DLC characters went

Here’s my idea: His specials are all summoning demons B is Zio Side B is Cu Chulainn doing a rush attack Down B is like the Zelda charge attack and it’s the elephant guy instead of the shadow armor guy that Zelda has Or alternatively B could swapped with some type of buff or debuff But the press turns would be there and instead of changing the move it just buffs them Changes B to a stronger projectile maybe ziodyne or megidolaon Side B becomes Cerberus maybe Down B becomes Thor Maybe down b can be swapped for a buff like Tarukaja and then it changes into luster candy. As for his moveset imo it should be similar to yours. His speed should be 5/10 Damage 7/10 He should be medium to medium-heavy weight Front smash would be fire roar or whatever Down Smash would be like a small gaea rage Up smash should be like a small laser blast I think all his grabs should be from the face because that would be cool. Front grab he drags them on the ground shortly and then throws theme Down grab he throws them down and stomps on their head Up grab he drops them and punches them upwards His foward air should be like a small punch like ganondorf Nair should be something simple maybe like he just kicks or punches in a radius Down air is a clobber that spikes Up air is a kick

Can confirm, Daphne is a skilled Black Belt martial artist and her sister in Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated is a US Navy servant and from what I remember, she has taught her some fighting. Also, if we're talking joke characters with potential, The Monstars from Space Jam would be awesome to see and Music Meister would be pretty cool too.

I played Zelda 1 growing up and love it. I played Zelda 2, finally, as an adult and love it too. I disagree with Miyamoto, I think it's an awesome nes game and a worthy Zelda game

A couple ideas for fighting game rosters would be a Mario fighting game, or a smash bros spinoff based on female Nintendo (and some 3rd party) characters called Smash Sisters

I think it better that Dante’s side special should be Stinger, is up special be High Time into Helm Splitter after pressing B. His dash attack be Jet Stream with Agni & Rudra. His Forward Smash be the final hit of Dance Macabre, up tilt be the final hit with Rebellion Combo C, his neutral air be Revolver with Cerberus and have Aerial Rave be his forward instead.

Thought I added my comment last night, but here are my Roster Suggestions for this round: +Transformers+: I will still gladly help anyone interested in making a Transformers roster (I'd volunteer a roster, too!), just need help with some things for the poll for the SG Discord +Sega Vs. DC Comics: might be good to help as a palate cleanser to keep the streams from being too Capcom-heavy, also curious how those would shake out +Image Vs. Konami: that's still a funny idea but could also be very interesting (also, plenty of neat options not just from Spawn, Metal Gear and Castlevania) +Super Smash Bros: not sure if it's on-hold for after Smash 6 gets a formal reveal, but it's always fun to see different Smash rosters (at least for me) +Indie/"Not-AAA" Fighting Game: I know there's surely been discussion about "what even IS indie anymore" as has been mentioned, but with defined rules, it'd be fun +Capcom Fighting All-Stars/Capcom Vs. Capcom: I'm sure this is on-hold for now, but the raw potential for all-Capcom rosters is tantalizing (hope Capcom makes a new Vs. Game someday) +Hyrule Warriors 2 or Zelda Fighting Game: certainly has potential, plus it's been on multiple polls in the last year so I'm sure *someone* wants to do it +Pokemon Vs. I saw on Twitter that someone compared the guy in the Emil trailer to the bag man from Persona 2. Probably a coincidence… right?

I think I'm kind of obsessed with this "Emio" thing, even though I'm not big into horror games, which this seeming is going to be, and it remains to be seen if I'll actually play it when it finally does come out. It's mostly the circumstances surrounding its reveal and the fact that he's coming from Nintendo specifically that has me keenly interested. Overall, I think this is rather brilliant marking on Nintendo's part; rather than tease this in a Direct, where it would be drowned out by all the other reveals, they release the trailer on an otherwise uneventful day, with nothing much else to compete against it in terms of getting people's attention. On top of that, they add a layer of mystery on top of this sudden short reveal with "Who is Emio?" as a hashtag. In a way, it's similar to how Cloverfield was revealed, there's not much to go off of, and the desire to know more increases when you withhold information. Of course, this mystery and intrigue will go away once they finally reveal more information, so let's just hope it doesn't wind up like most of J.J. Abrams movies where the reveal was not worth all the mystery and intrigue he placed before it. On top of all that, this is just a weird thing for Nintendo to do. They've published Mature-rated games before, even horror games, but revealing this game in this way is just something they don't do. It's all the more jarring when after this, they go right back to sharing the more family-friendly content they usually post, which again, makes it all the more memorable. The reaction from fans is especially fun to watch, there's already so much fan art of this weirdo with the paper bag over their head, with people saying stuff like "Mario and Luigi's evil brother" to "the one who deals with Nintendo leakers" to of course, because Nintendo fans are so predictable like this, "the next Smash bros. newcomer". It's been really fun looking at everyone joining the fun and/or speculating on what this is. I'm definitely intrigued at the moment, and even if I'll probably move on to something else until more information is revealed, for now, my obsession with "Emio" is still riding high!
